Hi everyone,
I’m having issue with my touchpad suddenly stopped working on my Acer Swift SF14-51. The only difference is that it was working fine before and stopped all of a sudden.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
- Installed Intel Serial I/O Driver from Acer support.
- Uninstalled all touchpad / HID-compliant touchpad drivers and let Windows reinstall them.
- Checked BIOS / UEFI: no touchpad-related settings available.
- Verified Device Manager shows the device as
ACPI\VEN_PIXA&DEV_3838, using generic input.inf driver. - Checked Windows Update and Optional Updates for driver updates.
- Restarted the laptop multiple times.
Despite all this, the touchpad remains unresponsive, and Event Viewer logs a Kernel-PnP 410 event.
Has anyone managed to fix this issue, or know where to get a compatible PixArt I2C HID touchpad driver for this model? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
