On my Acer Swift 1 SF114-34, the keyboard stops responding every time I log in or switch users. When this happens I can reboot into BIOS or Safe Mode and the keyboard works fine. If I boot back ito Windows after Safe Mode the keyboard now works. But if I boot back into Windows, it doesn't.
If I uninstall the PS/2 driver and reboot this will always fix it until the next login or user switch.
I spent hours with ChatGPT trying to find a solution. We agreed that this is not a hardware issue so please don't suggest replacement keyboards or cable checks.
The on-screen keyboard works and so does the touchpad.
This might be related to BIOS update from 1.16 to 1.17. Can I safely revert to 1.16 or will that not be allowed?
