Nitro AN515-58 battery issue. I can't use my laptop if it is not plugged in to the charger.

I have a Nitro AN515-58 laptop. I purchased it in march 2024. For the past few months I have noticed that I cannot use my laptop if it is not plugged in to the charger. It will not turn on without the charger and shuts down if the charger is removed. My battery reading has been consistently been at 93% (it's neither going up nor down).

I asked AI and was told to check my Battery report. My DESIGN CAPACITY is 58,751 mWh, and my FULL CHARGE CAPACITY is 55,733 mWh.

I have attached the battery report to this message.

What issue do I have? Do I need to replace my battery? Or is it something else?

Since no Battery Report was attached, the first step is to try a battery reset using the small pinhole on the underside of the Nitro 5. This acts like a hard disconnect/reconnect of the internal battery and often resolves cases where the system behaves as if the battery isn’t connected.

• Power off the laptop and unplug the AC adapter.
• Locate the small pinhole on the bottom case (usually marked with a battery symbol).
• Insert a straightened paperclip and hold gently for about 5 seconds.
• Reconnect the AC adapter and try powering on again.

If the system starts normally, you can then generate a fresh Battery Report (powercfg /batteryreport) to confirm the battery is detected and charging.

If the reset doesn’t help, it may point to a loose battery connector or a hardware fault, in which case opening the chassis or service inspection would be the next step.
