Today, while the laptop was running, the performance slowed down significantly. The display then transitioned to a Green Screen, indicating a system failure likely related to a Windows or firmware update process. Following this error, the screen immediately went permanently black.
Display: Completely black. The screen does not show the Acer logo, POST screen, or any BIOS/UEFI output.
Power/Lights: The laptop appears to power on, as the keyboard backlight is illuminated (Red Volo) and the cooling fans are cycling.
User Action Taken: I have attempted a full power drain/hard reset by holding the power button for over 60 seconds while unplugged. This action resulted in no change whatsoever; the laptop remains in the black screen state with the keyboard lit.
