Acer aspire 315-58 screen flickering

My Acer Aspire A315-58 has a screen flickering issue, but it's inconsistent. Sometimes it works fine, other times it flickers constantly.
Flickering happens from boot (even on Acer logo), External monitor works perfectly, Reseating the display cable didn't fix it, The problem comes and goes randomly

The problem still persists and it comes and goes without any apparent reason. I mainly use the laptop for work, but in my free time, I sometimes play War Thunder. I've tried everything, but the issue remains.

I'm sure it's not related to the drivers, since I uninstalled all of them using DDU and reinstalled them again, but it didn't make any difference.

Also, when I close the screen, it makes a slight unusual noise from the hinges, and it feels stiff to move.

If it still flickers in BIOS menu & after repeatedly re-seating edp cable, you probably need a new cable (part no 50.A6MN2.006) due to an intermittent conductor trace or wire break from wear and tear in the hinge area from opening/closing the lid too much. Google part no 50.A6MN2.006. About $30usd new.
