Request for Original NVIDIA GTX 1070 G-SYNC vBIOS for Acer Predator Helios 500 PH517-51-99UR (N17Q11)

Hello Acer Community,

I need help finding the original NVIDIA GTX 1070 8 GB (G-SYNC version) vBIOS for my laptop.

Model: Acer Predator Helios 500 PH517-51-99URModel No: N17Q11SNID: 84210094576GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1070 8 GB (G-SYNC)Flash chip: Winbond 25Q80DVSIG (1 MB)

My vBIOS chip is corrupted, and the laptop powers on (keyboard lights and sound work) but there is no display.I already have CH341A programmer and I can flash the chip manually, but I need the original 1 MB vBIOS (.rom) file for this GPU (G-SYNC version, not Optimus).

Could you please provide:

A direct download link to the correct Acer VBIOS update package (.exe or .zip)
Or a verified 1 MB .rom file for the GTX 1070 used in the PH517-51 G-SYNC model?

I have already checked all regional Acer support pages and only found NVIDIA drivers, not the discrete VBIOS update.Any help or official source for the correct file would be very appreciated.

If there has been any attempt to modify the BIOS, that can void Acer’s warranty. The safest option is to take the laptop to an Acer Service Center in your country so they can reset the system back to factory defaults.

As an alternative, you can try reinstalling the official packages:

BIOS version 1.16 (2018/11/08)
NVIDIA driver version 388.92 (2018/05/21)

This model was designed strictly for Windows 10 version 1809. It is not Windows 11 compatible, and if Windows 11 is installed the Microsoft generic drivers may not work correctly with the Windows 10‑era components and the EC (embedded controller) in BIOS.
