Hi Acer Support,
I'm having trouble getting Secure Boot to work properly on my Nitro AN515-41 laptop. I’ve enabled Secure Boot in BIOS (version V1.18), and my system is booting in UEFI mode with a GPT disk. However, Windows still reports Secure Boot as “Off,” and I’m unable to play Valorant due to Vanguard’s anti-cheat requirements.
Here’s what I’ve tried:
- Enabled Secure Boot and set Supervisor Password
- Verified UEFI boot and GPT partition
- BIOS shows Secure Boot Mode as “Custom,” but it’s grayed out
- No option to install default Secure Boot keys or reset Secure Boot
- Tried power button reset and BIOS defaults
Could you advise how to install Secure Boot keys or unlock Secure Boot Mode? Is there a firmware update or workaround for this model?
