I'm having a puzzling power issue with my Acer Predator Neo Helios 16 (13700HX/32GB/1TB).
- Symptom: Laptop does not start on battery power. Power button LED blinks and nothing else happens.
- Workaround: Plugging in the AC adapter allows it to boot immediately.
- Kicker: After booting on AC power, I can disconnect the charger and the laptop runs normally on the battery until shutdown.
- Tried: The battery reports a high charge level (~80%). This rules out a completely dead battery.
This seems like a hardware issue where the battery can't deliver the surge current needed for startup. Has anyone experienced this? Is it a failing battery or a motherboard power circuit problem?
