I have an Acer Nitro AN17-41 notebook. And I use a Logitech Master MX4 mouse. The latest version of Nitrosense is installed and seems to work as designed. It starts readily with the 'Nitro' key. So far, so good…
BUT - I also need the "Logi Options+" program to configure options on my MX4 mouse. It works perfectly (and Nitrosense also works fine) until I do a computer restart (or power off/on) and then Nitrosense starts up automatically and wipes out the Logi Options I have setup no longer work. It also screws things up such that I cannot even start the still installed Logi Options+ program. The Logi Options + window opens with a spinning "busy circle) and refuses to go beyond that screen. If I then uninstal Logi Options+ and reinstall it, and then reset the MX4 options I want to use things work normally (both Nitrosense and Logi Options +). This basically means I have a 10 minute hassle to go through every time I boot this notebook.
I have made sure that I have the latest Nitrosense and Logi Options+ versions. And I've tried changing sequences of the install process - all without any success. If I uninstall Nitrosense there are no issues with Logi Options +…
Is there any hope that either Acer (Nitrosense) or Logitech will figure this out and remedy the problem?
For now I'm doing without Nitrosense - but it makes me feel uncomfortable that such a basic Acer software creates such havoc on my system.
Thanks for anything you can do. If there is a straight forward solution I'd be more than appreciative of know what it might be.
