Hi all
With the Windows 10 support EOL hitting yesterday I attempted to update my PC (Desktop Acer Nitro n50-600) to Windows 11. I left it on overnight only to come back to find a message along the lines of 'Please select boot device or reboot.' When I go into BIOS settings by pressing delete at the Acer logo, the Windows Boot Manager no longer shows up.
I have been able to use an ISO flashed on a USB called Hiren's Boot CD to boot into a cut-down version of 11 which has let me check all my files are still on the C/D: drives but I'm unsure where to go from here. I have tried flashing another USB with the installation media for 10 on it but I get an error message saying 'A media driver your computer needs is missing' that I can't get past - I downloaded all the drivers from the support page, but only one shows up on the list, and installing it hasn't done anything. Checking Device Manager on the Hiren USB does indeed show most of my drivers are now seemingly gone:
Since I can't boot into Windows, I also can't get to the recovery screen to reset my PC. Please what can I do? Thank you.
