My Acer Aspire won't charge, please help!!!!!

My Acer Aspire is broken and I can not get it to charge although it is plugged in and is supposed to be charging.

The power light is not on on the right hand side and I can not tell if it is charging. The problem started yesterday when the cord was plugged in but I couldn't see the (plugged in) phrase on the screen near the battery.

Someone please tell me what to do in this situation. Attached is a picture downloaded from my mobile phone so that you know what I'm talking about.

I decided to post upload a picture because Acer will not allow us to post the model number although it will help everyone help us more efficiently.

Hi miniboss,
Please post your full model, not the SNID or Serial number, as there are hundreds of different Acer Aspire laptops. Look at the bottom of your laptop and you will see a model number like A315-51-51B0O. Also are you using a USB-C charger (indicated on the picture?) or a brick power adapter (barrel plug type)?

I tried posting my model number before but the Acer administrators deleted the information and told me not to do it again.

Here it is again. I hope I don't get into trouble.

That is your serial number, we need to to know your MODEL name that is at the back of the laptop on a sticker or you can also check BIOS with F2 on the Information tab or in Window System Info, looks like A515-54 or A315-51.

That is not your laptop model number that must be a serial number which we cant relate to what exact model laptop you have.

Your laptop should have a sticker on the underside of the laptop with a number like and if its the Acer Aspire its a model like the older A314-35-xxxx or the newer A515-57-56UV etc etc its not a 20 digit number its a 10 digit number
