Aspire A517-51G laptop showing 0% power, so I cannot update bios even when plugged in.

Hello, please help especially before Oct 14.

I have a Aspire A517-51G laptop that I used as a backup that I just didn't use for many years. The battery was not used for years.

When I try to update it to the latest version of windows 10 before Oct 14 - end of support for win 10. I think it needs to update the bios to update to 22h2 as it failed to do so before.

But the bios from acer website refuse to let me update to the latest version unless the battery is more than 25%.

As I am plugged in anyway, is there a way to just skip or trick that check?

Or is there a way to fix the battery.

I just needed to update the bios fast. Please help fast.

I finally got the bios updated through online video help.

But is there any way to fix the battery?
