Acer Nitro V15 overheating?V15 fan starts going crazy whenever the laptop is plugged in

Hi! I searched for "overheating" and didn't see a thread related to the problem I'm having with my Nitro V15. Sorry if it's there and I missed it.

My V15 fan starts going crazy whenever the laptop is plugged in and charging while running. I have added a cooling pad under it and it still does this.

But the loud sound isn't the worst problem. When I am playing a game like Valheim, the computer overheats even with the fan and cooling pad fans and will randomly shut down.

Is my laptop defective and needs to be returned to the store? Is there a solution to this defect? I've never had this problem with a laptop before and it feels like a defect in this model.
