So I just bought a new charger because the old one was bent and slightly charred. I had been having some charging issues off and on, but the past few days it got to the point where I was having to hold it at a specific angle in order for it to charge. Yes, I know I probably shouldn't have been using it in that condition, but we can't do anything about that now. The new charger works fine, but the same thing is happening where I have to hold it at a certain angle. Also the cord started to overheat after I had it charging for about 15 minutes. Same thing happened with the old one, hence why it was charred (yes I know, I should not have done this) So it must be the port. Both my old and new chargers are 65w with the little pin hole. Is there any alternative way I can charge it? Like a USB-C port? Sorry if that's a dumb question and this model doesn't even have a USB-C port, I don't know what I'm doing at all.
