Nitrosense fails to control fans on my Acer Nitro ANV15-41, fans spin wild on AC power

Hi everyone,

I own an Acer Nitro ANV15-41 and I’m having some really annoying issues with the fans. I can’t manually adjust the fan speed in any way — not through NitroSense or any other system tools. On top of that, as soon as I plug the laptop into AC power, the fans start spinning at insanely high speeds, even when the system is completely idle.I’ve noticed that many other users have been reporting the exact same issue for months, and it’s unbelievable that Acer hasn’t done anything to fix it yet.I’d really like to hear an official response from the Acer team about whether a BIOS update or software patch is planned, because this situation is getting quite frustrating.

Please update your BIOS to version 1.18 dated 2025/07/18, which includes EC updates and revised fan speed controls: https://www.acer.com/us-en/support/product-support/Nitro_ANV15-41

Also make sure your system is running the latest Windows 11 build (24H2 or 25H2). If you've already completed both steps, you're in the same boat as everyone else—waiting for Acer to release a new BIOS version with the necessary fix.

No further action can be taken until Acer publishes that update.

This is a common problem with the V15 and V16 Nitro laptops, if you search through the community there are allot of solutions to this problem as a guide, so I suggest that you do that as there is no definite fix for this problem. Good luck and hope this helps you further.
