Acer PM161Q Portable Monitor Not Connecting to MacBook Pro

My Acer PM161Q monitor has stopped mirroring the display of my MacBook Pro, and all I get is a black, backlit screen. I tested the functionality of the monitor by plugging it into my PS4, and it works just fine. The problem is specifically when plugging it into my computer.

However, my Mac has no issues displaying on other monitors. The main issue and the reason why I need a portable monitor is that my internal display is broken. Therefore, I can't navigate the display settings on my Mac when plugged into the portable to troubleshoot this issue.

The Acer monitor and my Mac were working seamlessly only 48 hours ago, and had been since August. It wasn't until yesterday morning when I plugged it in that it stopped. I updated my Mac, still no change. I heavily rely on my computer to get work done when I'm not home, so any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
