Acer Aspire A715-76G won't start on without charger, but battery works fine after boot

My laptop (Acer Aspire A715-76G) has a power issue related to the battery.
When the charger is unplugged, pressing the power button does not turn on the laptop. However, if I plug in the charger and press the power button, the laptop starts up normally. After the system has booted, I can unplug the charger and the laptop continues to work properly on battery power.

The battery report shows that the battery is healthy, and it can discharge and charge normally once the laptop is running. Therefore, the issue seems to be that the laptop cannot draw initial startup power from the battery alone; it only starts when external power (the charger) is connected.

I need to know the reasons why and how to fix it

Possible cause might be power circuit fault, weak battery, BIOS bug, Loose battery connector or EC firmware issue.

Try the below steps:

Replace battery, update BIOS, reseat/clean connector and performing EC reset.

If the above did not fix the issue than the final step is motherboard repair
