Spin 5 SP513-54N-72V2 Pen and Elan Fingerprint issues after Windows 11 pro upgrade

My pen stopped working after I did a Windows 11 pro update. I removed the update and restarted and the pend still does not seem to work. It seems Microsoft thinks everyone with a 2 an 1 has a portable pen and not ours?

I dont remember this icon above on the older Window 11 pro settings, I just had the ability to change pen and ink settings and now it looks different. Anyone experienced this? I look into the device manger and I see the pen in human interface devices ?

2nd Issue is the Elan fingerprint issue that I have had before but now I do have the biometrics icon and it shows the Elan fingerprint sensor? I have tried to update the driver and I am getting the following code below, I am using the correct software and correct properties year or software 2021 and I cant seem to update the driver?

Uninstall and reinstall drivers If updating does not work, a clean reinstallation often resolves conflicts.

1. Open Device Manager again.
2. Right-click the problem device (Elan Fingerprint Sensor or HID-compliant pen/touch screen) and choose Uninstall device.
3. For the fingerprint sensor, check the box that says "Attempt to remove the driver for this device" if available.
4. Restart your laptop. Windows will automatically attempt to reinstall the drivers on startup. 

Use Windows Update for optional drivers Sometimes, an important driver is listed as an "optional update."

1. Go to Settings > Windows Update > Advanced options.
2. Select Optional updates.
3. Expand Driver updates and see if any are available for your pen, touchpad, or biometric devices.
4. Select any relevant drivers and click Download and install. 

Manually download drivers from Acer If Windows Update and Device Manager don't work, get the drivers directly from Acer's website.

1. Go to the Acer Support website and navigate to the Drivers and Manuals page.
2. Enter your laptop's serial number or select your model (Spin 5 SP513-54N-72V2).
3. Select Windows 11 as the operating system.
4. Download the latest drivers for the fingerprint sensor, chipset, and Serial IO.
5. Install the drivers you downloaded and restart your laptop. 

Reset Windows Hello Settings If the fingerprint sensor issue persists after reinstalling the driver, the problem may be with your Windows Hello configuration.

1. Go to Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options.
2. Click on Fingerprint recognition (Windows Hello) and select Remove.
3. After removing it, follow the on-screen prompts to set up your fingerprint again.
