Hi everyone — I’m using a laptop that runs on Intel UHD / Intel Xe integrated graphics, and I’ve started running into a frustrating problem when I open my website PS handyman Singapore (both the public site and the WordPress backend).
Whenever I load pages or try to work in the WordPress dashboard the browser will either freeze, become painfully laggy, or eventually crash altogether. Sometimes the page content loads very slowly and scripts time out; other times the whole browser tab becomes unresponsive for long stretches and the system stutters (mouse lag, delayed input). I’ve also noticed that video previews or editor windows in WP Studio/Block editor drop frames and the system feels CPU/GPU constrained even when few tabs are open.
I’ve already gone through the usual checks: made sure Windows and the browser are up to date, installed the latest drivers available from the vendor, rolled back a driver once to test, checked background tasks/extensions, reset browser settings, and verified power/performance plans — but the problem persists. Disabling hardware acceleration in the browser helped a bit for a session or two but the freezes came back.
Has anyone here with the same Intel integrated graphics setup experienced similar freezes or WordPress-related slowdowns? If so, what fixed it for you — driver versions that worked, clean-install tips, BIOS settings, or a reliable workaround? Any guidance would be really appreciated — thanks!
