Hello Acer Community,
I recently got the Acer Nitro V15 (i5-13420H, RTX 5050 8GB) and I'm having a weird issue. Ever since I updated the NVIDIA drivers to the latest version(581.42) games are crashing with errors saying either the GPU has been forcibly disconnected or the GPU doesn't have enough VRAM or even saying that the GPU overheated, none of which are true; I can clearly the GPU visible in the device manager, and has 8GB of VRAM! and the laptop didn't even get warm. So I did a complete uninstall of GPU drivers using DDU and grabbed the drivers supplied by Acer (572.93) from the support page after which the games are running fine. But just to test things out I've installed a slightly newer version (580.88) in hopes that maybe it was a buggy driver but no, the games are crashing again. Afraid I might have bricked something I've made a full clean install of windows and tried again, but the result was same. So, what do I do now? Should I send it in for a repair? Have anyone else with the same specification encountered similar issues. Attaching the screenshots below. Thank for helping out.
