Hello everyone — I’m using an Intel Core i9-13700KF in an Acer Orion 7000.
Whenever I try to run my website, The Ann Savva Group (including the WordPress backend), the machine starts showing the same kinds of symptoms other users have mentioned: the browser repeatedly freezes and becomes unresponsive, pages hang for long periods, background tabs spike CPU usage, the WordPress admin will sometimes time out or crash, and overall system responsiveness drops dramatically (UI lag, click delays, occasional blue screen or hard app crashes). It feels like heavy single-thread spikes and sudden slowdowns rather than a steady, predictable performance hit. I’ve already gone through the basics — checked Windows Update, reinstalled / updated chipset and Intel drivers, updated BIOS where possible, reset power settings, cleared caches and disabled plugins in WP — but the problem persists. Has anyone else running the same i9-13700KF / Orion model seen similar behavior when using web-heavy tasks or WordPress backends, and if so what actually fixed it for you (microcode/BIOS updates, specific driver versions, BIOS settings to change, or a service repair)?
Thanks in advance — any real-world troubleshooting tips would be much appreciated.
