I bought an Acer Certified Refurbished Predator Helios Neo 16 AI. One dead blue pixel was something I noticed but was willing to put up with because it's barely noticeable and by god it took long enough to get here the first time and I just wanna play, but maybe it's a sign of bigger issues prompting the return from the original owner? This is from Acer on Ebay.
My headphones use USB C dongle. My headphones work when using the laptop or browsing the internet. But as soon as I pull up certain games it cuts out like it's losing power. I've tried CS2 and Arena: Breakout Infinite. It cuts off on those. I assumed it was a power issue so I made my way around disable usb sleeping and stuff like that. I tried other devices in the port and same story, works until games are pulled up.
Given the replicable nature of this issue I'm feeling like it's a setting buried somewhere or my unit is somehow faulty because there's no way losing two usb c ports during gameplay is a design choice.
I've done my SFC and DISM stuff like people recommend and I've updated everything. I've gone through all my power settings and adjusted them to prefer performance and not reduce things for battery power. I've turned off USB sleeping under device manager. I've tried different Predator Power Plans. I'm at a total loss.
Thank you for your help.
