Hello, I own an Acer Nitro V 15 Windows 11 laptop. The specs for the CPU is 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-13420H (2.10 GHz), while the GPU is NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050. A few days ago, it began crashing only when I play higher-demand games like Baldur's Gate 3 and Cyberpunk while the charger is plugged in. If I run the same games while the charger isn't plugged in, it works perfectly. Also, low-spec games like Baldur’s Gate 1 run fine even when plugged in. The GPU temperature stays around 61 °C before a crash, so it doesn’t appear to be a heat issue. I recently reapplied thermal paste, which temporarily fixed the crashing problem, but it started crashing again last night while I was playing, and the charger was plugged in. I have already tried putting it in High-Performance power and using Nitro Sense to also put it in High-Performance with max fan settings, but it still crashes. I normally keep the laptop plugged in at 100 % even when not gaming. Could this be caused by a failing AC adapter, battery, or charging circuit, and are there any recommended fixes for this?
