how to replace Aspire tc780 SSD ?

As this machine won't upgrade to W11 I'm going to switch to Linux. I could set up a duel boot on the machine as is, but that looks like a ton of faf and SSDs seem really cheap so I thought maybe just put in a fresh SSD and instal Linux on that. But I can't seem to find any guides on how to do that - I'm guessing it should be straight-forward physically but maybe I'm missing something about simply replacing it and installing linux via the BIOS as there's no mention of doing this anywhere I can find. Does anyone have any advice?

If I can do this I can keep using the data drive as is, but might replace that too just for completeness.

Have you considered buying a new W11 unit versus the cost of Hard Drives.

Depends as your usage that you may not need W11 ?

Thought YT would, but only details of replacing HDD. Service manual doesn't list SSD as Field Replaceable Unit and I'm not sure I want to go taking it out if I can't replace it.

A replacement SSD is only about £40 and a HDD about the same for what I need so, a lot less than new box - even without W11.
