Hi,
I own an Acer Nitro V 15 and I recently experienced a series of issues after performing basic internal maintenance (mostly cleaning, no advanced repairs).
After the maintenance, the laptop didn't turn on for several hours. When it finally powered on, the keyboard backlight lit up but nothing else happened—no fan noise, no display. After a while, it turned on and seemed to work normally. However, when I tried shutting it down, the fans wouldn't stop, and I had to force power-off by holding the power button. For several minutes after this, the laptop wouldn't respond at all—not even the keyboard backlight.
Eventually, after leaving it off and unplugged for some time, it started working normally again. The fans now stop shortly after shutting down, and the notebook starts up as expected. However, I also experienced a temporary keyboard issue: pressing certain keys (such as ESC) triggered the wrong actions (for example, acting as TAB), but this was resolved after a restart.
Has anyone experienced similar issues? Are these signs of a hardware issue, or just temporary glitches after maintenance and power cycling? Should I be worried about future failures, or is the system stabilizing naturally? Would you recommend any additional checks or precautions, especially considering the laptop is still under warranty?
Thank you for any advice!
