I have an Acer Nitro V AN515-45-R2NV
It has a ryzen 7 5800H cpu and a Nvidia 3060 gpu.
The other day I was gaming(playing valorant) for like an hour then my laptop just suddenly turned off and it doesn’t turn on if it’s not plugged in but when it does turn on after like a few minutes it just shuts off. It still recognized the battery but it for some reason it doesn’t use it for power(i.e. it not turning on if it’s not plugged in).
I disconnected the battery and pressed the power button for 1 minute then reconnected the battery and now it turns on even when it’s not plugged in but the problem is I tried gaming again but there’s suddenly major fps drops (180-240 fps drops to 12-21 fps) and packet loss of 30-50% with the charger plugged in then I thought my charger wasn’t working cause my battery wasn’t charging. Then bought a 2 new ones but same problem keeps coming up. Then I tried using it without the charger the fps became stable (remains at a steady 60fps) but since the battery doesn’t charge I now don’t know what to do.
To be clear when I open other games it’s the same not only with valorant.
