Guys, to summarize: I have a fairly recent Acer laptop (from last year), with an i7, 32 GB RAM (16+16), and a 512 GB SSD. The issue is that I want to play Fortnite casually, but this Acer only has the integrated Intel UHD Graphics.
I can run the game by lowering the resolution as much as possible and using just one external monitor, but I still get some random stutters during matches. I feel like there’s room for optimization to make it run smoother.
I’ve watched some tutorials about allocating more RAM to the GPU, but I couldn’t get it to work on this Acer. So I’m looking for practical tips on what can actually be done with this setup.
The laptop model is:
Acer Aspire 5 Laptop
- 15.6" Full HD display
- Intel Core i7-12650H
- 8 GB RAM (upgraded to 32 GB)
- 512 GB SSD
- Linux

Does anyone have suggestions for optimization to improve performance?
