Broken laptop screen, can’t access BIOS on external monitor & options for dual booting Linux + fresh Windows install in Nitro 5 AN515-45?

I have an Acer Nitro 5 (AN515-45) with a broken internal screen and am unable to access the BIOS on an external monitor. I’ve tried lid closing tricks, magnet tricks, and even disconnecting the display cable, but if the cable is disconnected, the laptop doesn’t seem to boot at all. Because of this, I can’t access the BIOS/boot menu since nothing shows up on my external monitor until Windows actually loads.

My goal is to:

Fresh install Windows on a new SSD
Dual-boot Linux + Windows on the laptop

Questions:

Can I purchase a low-cost display panel solely to access the BIOS? If yes, where’s a good place to get one (eBay, Amazon, AliExpress, etc.) and do I need the exact same model panel or are there compatible ones?
Is it possible to install both Windows and Linux on another PC, then move the SSDs into my laptop? If so, how would I actually choose/change which OS to boot once they’re inside my laptop, given I can’t see the BIOS right now?

TLDR: I’m stuck because I can’t get into the BIOS/boot menu on the external monitor, but I still want to set up dual boot.

You would be much better off buying one of the below 15.6inch screens and replacing your Nitro laptops screen yourself, as its not a hard job. Below are all the screens that Acer fitted to the Nitro 5 AN515-45 laptops, go to LS screens and the model NE156FHM-NZ3 V8.0 Replacement LCD screen from $70.48, its a 360Hz refresher rate 40pin video connector eDP cable screen, as they have all these screens available for sale.
