I feel so sad and kinda disappointed, since I bought this laptop 6 months ago.
So it's really almost kinda new. I used it for work and little bit of gaming.
I was gaming new India Jones, then all of a sudden laptop turned off in the middle of gaming, and no signs of life since then.
I don't know honestly what temperatures were of CPU and GPU during gaming, but fan was maybe little bit louder than it used to be and the laptop itself was maybe a little bit hotter than it used to be after regular gaming.
I tried some of those tricks I found online to "fix it", like open back lid of laptop, unnatach battery from MBO, press and hold power button for a minute, then attach back the battery and plug in the power adapter.
Or just pressing power button for certain amount of time….
Unfortunately, none of that worked.
I guess there was some overheating and something went dead on he MBO , or maybe the MBO itself.
I have the warranty so I will send laptop back to the store for fixing it, that's not the issue.
I'm just so surprised that a brand new laptop went dead just like that.
I was gaming in the air conditioned room, and laptop was on solid surface, so there should not be any overheating… but then… I guess you never know :/
I have some cheap laptops that are live till today, so more than 10 years now.
But this one was not cheap at all and went dead after just half the year :/
I'm really disappointed, ang I hope it will not happen again if/when they change MBO at warranty.
But as I can see online I'm not the only one, and this MBO fried situation is almost often the case? :/
