whats with this aggressive overengineered bloatware hellscape?
if i DARE delete anything that came preinstalled on my acer swift go 16, the laptop seems to retaliate by immediatly locking my fan curve at max even while idling. utterly laughable tbh. The EC seriously defaults to 100% when i dont have acer quickaccess installed? wtf kind of design is that. Even archaic laptops have bios controlled fan curves or profiles built into ec. When i go to research this topic i see countless other threads on this website about it with no real fix. Youtube commentfields are littered with users saying the software doesn't work.. and theres an entire section of threads complaining about the fan noise on these laptops
NOT TO MENTION, quickaccess is supposedly being phased out, in favor of the new "AcerSense" … this means that the driver page for this EXACT device no longer lists quickaccess at all, and only AcerSense is listed , but big suprise, it doesnt work at all. installer just says "model is not supported" which i suspect is because my windows version is too new or something.
so my only choice after accidentally offending thy majesty acer, by uninstalling their glorious bloatware, is to either get it off some shady third party website, or succumb to my eternal punishment of perpetual max fan noise
can someone provide some sort of explanation why acer chose this design path when most other laptops just work. and why are there 9 million different bloatware apps which either dont do ****, or turn out to be entirely essential for the pc to even work. I need the latest quickaccess download too, or i need a working acersense installer or some opensource workaround to these horrible oem fan profiles. model is SFG16-71
