Battery Drain Issue While Gaming on ANV16-71 with 135W Charger

Hello,

I recently purchased an Acer Nitro V16 (ANV16-71), and since the very first day of use I have noticed a serious issue: the battery drains during gaming even when the laptop is plugged in.

The device comes with a 135W adapter, but when playing games (especially on high performance mode), the battery percentage drops continuously.

My questions are:

Would replacing the charger with a 230W adapter solve the issue?
Or is the motherboard locked to 135W and therefore cannot take advantage of a higher wattage adapter?

This is a critical concern for me because I am still within the return period, and I need to know whether this issue can be fixed or if it is simply a hardware limitation of the laptop.

Adjust in-game settings:

Reduce graphics settings: Lowering the graphical detail and resolution can significantly reduce the workload on your GPU and CPU.
Decrease CPU usage: Limit the maximum percentage for the CPU in your power plan settings.

Higher wattage adapters are not recommended:

Using an adapter with a higher wattage than the system is designed for can cause power rail issues and damage internal components.

Designed behavior:

This power-balancing act is a feature, not a defect. The system uses the battery to deliver maximum performance without suffering throttling or a sudden shutdown.

Solution would be:

Switch modes:

Run your games in a less demanding mode than "Turbo" or "High Performance," such as "Balanced" mode. This can significantly reduce the system's total power consumption.
