My Acer Swift Go 16 has always had scratchy, crackly video session playback, but with recent updates to zoom, acer apps, windows 11 and some other apps, the problem became so bad I was unable to host a zoom meeting with any musical playback. If I play music that is pre-recorded during a zoom *meeting* (not just having a zoom console opened and logged in), the music/sound is scratchy, pausing, and mostly unintelligible. This worsening just occurred recently (within last couple of weeks from 2025/09/08). Without an actual zoom meeting started, the music is only occasionally scratchy but tolerable. When I first had the issues after purchasing my GO 16, I turned off a lot of the items suggested by various forums. The latest problem made zoom musical presentations unusable. I finally found the solution for me for now. If you open the Acer Quick Panel and open the Purified Voice configuration icon, at the very bottom of the panel is the selection for "AI noise reduction". I can toggle that to the 'off' position and it mostly solves the music replay issue. If music is playing in a zoom meeting, you can toggle that setting off/on and see the immediate difference in the sound locally on the host and all of the guests can again hear the sound. I'm posting this in hopes that it helps someone else that has similar issues.
