I need help with Secure Boot on my Acer Predator PH315-54 (3060 GPU) laptop. I’ve tried everything I could find, but it still shows Secure Boot Off in Windows(On in bios), and I’m unable to switch it to On.
My system details:
BIOS version: 1.15 (latest from Acer support website)
Windows 11 installed
GPT partitioning
TPM enabled and active
In BIOS, UEFI boot mode is enabled.
Secure Boot State in msinfo32 show "Off"
I set the Supervisor Password in BIOS, after which all other Secure Boot settings became available except for “Secure Boot Mode,” which remains greyed out which is why i am not able to switch to custom mode then back to standard (a potential fix for the issue).
The Select an UEFI file as trusted for executing option is available, and I enrolled bootmgfw.efi, but it didn’t activate Secure Boot.
I tried restoring factory keys and erasing all secure boot settings, but nothing worked.
Even after reinstalling Windows Secure Boot remains off.
