Aspire 5 15 not booting up, Blue light is on

Laptop is failing to boot up - this has happened three times and following assistance I managed to get it booting up. It has now failed again and the previous fixes are not resolving the issue. I have tried the battery reset and the CMOS reset to no avail. I do not want to take the back cover off because it is still under warranty and i do not want to invalidate that.

When I press the power key, the blue power light comes on with the fan and keyboard lights then all go off after 5 seconds. If I press the power key again immediately then just the blue light comes on. If I leave it a couple of seconds then they all come on again as above.

Any thoughts?

Perform a power reset

1. Disconnect the power adapter from the laptop.
2. Unplug all other accessories, like external monitors, mice, and USB drives.
3. Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
4. Plug the power adapter back in and try turning on the laptop. 

Press the battery reset pinhole

Many Aspire 5 models have a small pinhole on the bottom of the case that can perform a hardware-level battery reset. 

1. Disconnect the power adapter.
2. Straighten a paperclip and insert it into the small pinhole on the bottom of the laptop. The hole may have a small battery icon next to it.
3. Press and hold the pinhole button for 15 to 30 seconds.
4. Reconnect the power adapter and attempt to turn on the laptop.
