Hi everyone,
I recently updated the BIOS on my Acer Nitro 5 (AN515-58) to the latest version, and since then I’ve noticed some unusual behavior. The laptop fan is running almost constantly at high speed, even when I’m just browsing the web or working on simple documents. The system also feels hotter to the touch compared to before the update.
I’ve already tried resetting the BIOS to default settings, updating all drivers (including Intel and NVIDIA), and running Acer Care Center to check for any pending updates. I also cleaned out the vents and made sure there’s proper airflow, but the issue hasn’t improved.
Has anyone else experienced overheating or fan noise after a BIOS update on their Acer laptop? Could this be a bug in the latest firmware, or should I consider rolling back to the previous BIOS version? I’d really appreciate any suggestions or fixes.
Thanks in advance!
