Swift 14 HELP - I can't connect to my Wifi dongle

Hi, I have recently bought a Swift 14 AI. I work a lot on the road (hence why this model with long battery life is appealing) but it can't connect to my 4GEE 5GHz EE Wi-Fi Dongle. I have been using chat GPT for hours trying to problem solve and it's still not working. Chat GPT was suggesting the current driver may not be compatible, telling me to rollback drivers, change network settings to prioritise 5GHz, I tried manually adding the device and inputting all the IP etc but none of them solutions have worked. I just keep getting the "cannot connect to this network" message. My old laptop and phone connect completely fine to it. Any advice would be super appreciated 🙏

I would recommend that you use an Acer dongle like shown below of either the Acer Connect M6E 5G Mobile Wi-Fi or the newest Acer Wave D7 Wi-Fi 7 USB Dongle that functions similarly to a USB drive. Plugging the device directly into a laptop's USB-A port gives the computer access to Wi-Fi 7 networks with speeds up to 2,880 Mbps. This performance extends to all three of its frequency bands (2.4, 5, and 6 GHz). We can't advise you on your existing old 4GEE 5GHz EE Wi-Fi Dongle as its not an Acer product, as it might not be compatible with the new Acer Swift 14 laptop.
