Question about bios utility password

I have aNitro 5 AN515-46 and recently I've tried to access my bios to enable booting from a usb drive. I see it is asking me for a password to enter the bios. I never set a password for my bios so am a bit confused as to why it's asking me for one.

In searching this forum I've seen others asking for help with this issue and are told Acer cannot help with password issues and tell them they must seek a third party solution which requires payment Why would I be required to pay for a solution to this issue since I am at no fault for the issue. It seems a bit ridiculous to require someone to have to pay for access to the bios on ones own computer.

Are there any solutions to this issue that do not require me to pay to resolve it?

Sorry but we at Acer community cant give you any guides or assist with resetting a bios password for security reasons and the Acer community rules that forbit us from doing this . You need to take your AN515-46 laptop to Acer Tech Support in your country or search You Tube (hint) as there is a guide there, as that is all I can give you, but you do this at your own risk. I did try a solution I found on youtube but it did not work for me. Can you shed some light on how a password would be set for the bios without me setting it? In my research into this problem on the internet and on this forum I have been seeing many people experiencing this, they do not set any password on the bios yet when they try to access it it has had a password set. I am very strict about security on my systems and network so I'm almost 100% sure no one has had access to this laptop. I did see something about a windows update perhaps doing this but I'm doubtful as to this happening. Is it a bug or is there some sort of security crack for the bios?

This bug happened to allot of laptops of that early 2020s era in bios and it also happened to my 2021 model Nitro 5 AN515-56, without me setting any password, and that you tube reset/remove guide with the 8 or 10 code fixed this problem and I could get into the bios, sorry but that is as far as I can go into this. For further advice and solution or a fix consult Acer Tech Support in your country as we are not allowed to be more specific on this subject. Good luck.
