A315-24P-R7VH wifi problem, unable to connect with many secure websites on wifi

I have been struggling with this laptops wifi for quite a while. The problem now is I am unable to connect with many secure websites on wifi. Yet if I connect with a ethernet cable to the same router, all the websites load properly. All the websites have verified certificates although any browser I use (edge, firefox, brave) while connected via wifi will not load the websites (including this site). I have installed the latest wireless card driver and have followed the microsoft support network commands to reset the ip stack, flush the resolver cache ect. The fact that all browsers are unable to load the same sites seems to indicate a network setting somewhere but I am at a loss to find it. Thank you for any help

Update: The problem seems to be windows based. I ran Linux Mint live via usb stick and used firefox to access the sites I could not in windows. Not a single problem. Hope this helps.
