Acer Monitor SB220Q Input Not Supported message when in BIOS. What could be the problem?

I have a SB220Q connected to a 6800XT and a MSI B650-S mobo. My cpu doesn't have built in graphics, so this is the only way to connect to my pc.

Everything works great when I've booted into an OS.

But when it is first booting up, or in the BIOS or Boot menu from the mobo I get a "Input Not Supported" message on the screen. If I plug my pc into my TV I get an appropriate display, but that's not terribly useful.

According to MSI, the bios screen is displayed at 1024x768. According to the EDID from the monitor, that resolution is supported at both 60 and 70hz.

So what else could be the problem?

There is an Acer driver for your Acer SB220Q monitor version 1.0, have you installed that, as that is all that Acer provides, otherwise its the desktop system that you have setup that is at fault and not the Acer monitor.
