Keyboard Backlight not working; Screen always enters Night Light mode

Hi everyone, i have an ACER Swift Go 14
All of a sudden, the following issues happened:

1. Keyboard Back light is not turning on. sometimes it will (like 1/100 instances of using the laptop) no matter what i do, it will not turn on. I tried doing the BIOS edit. didn't work. i tried resetting the battery, not working. even pressing the Fn+F11 doesn't work. tried to update all the drivers, still no keyboard backlight

2. Every time I turn on my laptop, it always starts with NIGHT LIGHT on. But when clicking the battery icon, or when going to display settings, it will turn back to normal lighting without even clicking on any of the menu. No schedule was set. Night light is turned off. This happened shortly after the keyboard backlight issue happened.

the laptop is usable but it is kinda annoying that i need an external light source to use the laptop at night. it is also annoying that i need to do extra steps to get out of the night light mode when it is in fact shouldn't be turning on in the first place.
