Acer Aspire 3 - A315-42 Laptop not booting after installing new ram

Hello. I have Acer Aspire 3 - A315-42 Laptop. It has 4GB inbuilt DDR4 2666Mhz RAM. I wanted to upgrade the RAM and i purchased EVM 8GB So-DIMM Laptop RAM DDR4 2666Mhz. I already having 4GB inbuilt RAM in 1st slot, When i installed the new ram in the 2nd RAM slot, my laptop didn't boot. Only blank screen appears. No acer logo at all. When i tried with 1st slot it didn't boot. I removed the new RAM and inserted inbuilt RAM only laptop boots without any issue. When i removed old RAM and insert new RAM only, laptop didn't boot. I tried resetting the bios by removing battery and motherboard CMOS Battery. But laptop didn't boot. I am not sure if the BIOS was reset. I think i bought the RAM with same specs compatible RAM. I am sure there was a problem with a new ram configuration or something. I coudn't figure out what was wrong with the new RAM and there is no return policy from Amazon. Any Techies out there who might help?
