Laptop Model: Acer Nitro 5 AN515-57 (i5-11400H, GTX 1650)
In the last week of June 2025, my laptop suddenly froze (it was stuck for about 3–5 hours). I had to force shut it down and later got it cleaned at an Acer service centre. After that, it worked fine for about a month.
In the last week of July 2025, the same issue happened again. I force shut it down, but this time it did not start immediately. After a few hours, it turned on again. The service centre suggested performing a reset, which worked for a day, but the issue came back.
At that time, I was using a local charger, so I purchased an original Acer charger.
On 8th August 2025, the laptop froze again, and since then it has not turned on at all.
Current Symptoms:
- Earlier, pressing the power button made the power indicator LED turn blue and the keyboard backlight comes on & Fans also starts to spin (but there was no display).
- Now, when the laptop is fully charged and I press the power button, the power indicator turns blue, Fans also starts to spin, but nothing else happens (no display, no keyboard backlight).
- When the charger is disconnected and I press the power button, the power indicator blinks light orange continuously, and the laptop does not start.
Can anyone guide me on what could be causing this issue and what steps I should try next?
