so i have acer predator helio neo 16 2023 phn16-71 its going to be one year since i purchased and I’ve been facing a serious issue with excessive backlight bleeding.
I understand that some level of IPS glow or light leakage is a common characteristic of IPS panels. However, in my case, the bleeding is so severe that it completely ruins the experience while watching movies or web series in dark scenes. The brightness leaks heavily along the edges and corners, making it distracting and unusable for immersive viewing.I have already contacted Acer Support multiple times. While I was informed that this is an IPS characteristic, I believe the issue on my unit is beyond acceptable limits. I’m not asking for the panel to be completely free of bleeding (which I know isn’t possible), but I do expect the level of bleeding to be reasonable and within quality standards. what do you guys think about this
