Hello everyone. Yesterday I purchased new laptop Nitro V 15 - 52. It came with no operation system. It is normal as it is no problem to me to install windows. But windows installation app did not see ssd drive. Then I went UEFI (BIOS). In information tab I see Kingston ssd but capacity is not shown. Also it does not appear in Boot menu. I guessed that ssd was not initialized at the factory. So I went to Advanced tab for drive management options just to see that bios is cutted down so much that No actions are possible. Is there way to initialize ssd any other way or access this features in bios? My bios version 1.28

You need to put the Nitro ANV15-52 model Acer supplied IRST (Intel® Rapid Storage Technology) Driver version 20.0.0.1038 onto the Win-11 version 24H2 installation bootable USB (use the Rufus 4.9 bootable USB and follow its guide) and when you get to the Winb-11 section at below section LOAD DRIVER you install this IRST driver and then you can continue the installation of windows and the M.2 boot drive will be recognized. Do that as it will work and you will be able to install window.

Also, and after you have finished the Win-11 24H2 and updated all windows update to the last OS build: 26100.4946, then go to the ANV15-52 Acer support page and download the last bios version 1.31 and install then install the NVidia App and use this app to download and play all supported games for your NVidia gpu, so that your laptop performs at its best. Good luck and hope this solves your problem.

    Hi Alex2025,

SSD not detected during Windows installation (ANV15-52)

If you're installing Windows on your Nitro V 15-52 and the SSD isn't showing up at the “Where do you want to install Windows?” screen, it's likely due to missing Intel IRST (Rapid Storage Technology) drivers.

    ✅ Required Steps

    1. Download the Intel IRST driver
      • Go to the ANV15-52 support page
      • Download the Intel Rapid Storage Technology (IRST) driver package
      • Unzip the contents to a folder
    2. Prepare your USB installer
      • Plug in your USB drive with the Windows ISO image
      • Copy the unzipped IRST driver folder directly onto the USB drive (outside the ISO structure)
    3. Start Windows installation
      • Boot from the USB installer
      • When you reach the screen that says “Where do you want to install Windows?”, click Load Driver
      • Browse to the IRST folder you copied earlier
      • Select the appropriate driver and continue

This will allow Windows Setup to detect the SSD and proceed with installation.
