Hello. I have a question about this laptop because it comes with an OLED display. And without an operating system. After installing Windows 11. Can I install a program like OLED care for pixel shift for this laptop, and which one?

    Hi poibuklo
If you're using the Acer Helios Neo 16S AI with an OLED panel, "Asus OLED Care" isn’t officially compatible. That utility is tied to Asus firmware and display drivers, and it’s designed to work only with Asus-branded OLED laptops. Even if it installs, it won’t detect your panel or apply pixel shift routines correctly.

Acer doesn’t bundle a direct equivalent, but you still have options:

    1. Windows-native tweaks – Enable auto-hide taskbar, use dark mode, and set a moving screensaver. These reduce static image retention and are effective across all brands.
    2. Third-party tools – Apps like OLED Guard Pro offer pixel shift, full-screen refresh, and shadowing features. It’s available from the Microsoft Store and works on most OLED panels, regardless of brand.
    3. Panel-level protection – Some OLED panels include built-in pixel refresh cycles at the firmware level. These are automatic and not user-configurable, but they help extend panel life.

There’s no universal “OLED Care” app across brands, so combining Windows tweaks with third-party utilities is your best path. Always check software compatibility before installing—especially on systems without preinstalled OS.

Thank you for the program! Could you help me? Where is the option to offset screen pixels (pixel shift) in the program, and how can I configure it? I am not fluent in English.

    Hi poibuklo,

Glad you found OLED Guard Pro helpful! To enable Pixel Shift in the app:

    1. Open OLED Guard Pro from your Start Menu.
    2. Go to the Display Protection tab.
    3. Toggle Pixel Shift to ON. You can adjust the shift interval (e.g. every 60 seconds) and movement distance (e.g. 2–4 pixels) depending on your preference.
    4. Make sure the app is allowed to run in the background so it can apply the shift continuously.

This feature helps reduce static image retention by subtly moving the screen content over time.
