I’m using an Acer Nitro ANV15-51 laptop, and I’ve noticed a strange issue with the battery. The system shows that the laptop is plugged in and charging, but the battery percentage stays stuck and doesn’t increase—even when the device is idle or turned off. I’ve tried basic troubleshooting like restarting, unplugging and replugging the charger, and checking for Windows updates, but nothing seems to help.
The battery icon shows the charging symbol, and the LED indicator behaves normally, yet the battery level remains unchanged. This makes me wonder if it’s a software glitch, a battery calibration issue, or possibly a hardware fault with the battery or charging circuit.
I'm wondering if this is purely a battery fault—or could it be something deeper, like a problem with the motherboard or charging circuitry?
The charger and port seem fine, and the system recognizes that it's plugged in. But the battery level stays frozen, even when the laptop is idle or powered off. If it's a hardware issue, I’d like to know whether replacing the battery alone might fix it, or if I should be concerned about the motherboard, power IC, or any internal connectors.
