Problem with the charger in Predator PHN16-71. Bought another one & ended up with the same problem.

Hello, I bought an Acer Predator PHN16-71 laptop a little over a year and a half ago, and I'm on a trip with it. After a while, it started making noises as if I were removing and putting the charger back in very quickly, even though it was still on a table without any movement. After checking, I saw that it was very hot to the point that holding it with my hand was hurting. I saw on the internet that it meant that the charger was fluctuating in power, and they recommended that I buy another one. I ended up buying another one and in less than a month it ended up with the same problem. I'm using a replacement because I need the laptop for work, but it's showing same problems as the other two.

Hi, to mitigate the power adapter getting hot during the fast charging phase keep the adapter plugged in 24/7 and the battery fully charged to 100% at all times. Coil Whine that you notice is normal with powerful laptops, if this is too noisy you can try a different wall plug that is properly grounded, avoid power panels and extension cords and if still Coil Whine is noted you can try to reverse polarity at the wall outlet using a 2-pin AC adapter (turn the 2-pin adapter 180 degrees). Do not use a USB-C charger with this model laptop.
