I have a new Model Number:X32V2/Part Number:MM.V8YAA.001

Attached is image of a warning message that will not stop appearing every hour or so. I've tried everything (cliked yes, no, reset, disconnect/reconnect cables, etc. per Acer support chat). I am considering replacing but fear the replacement will have the same issue. Google search reveals some info that it is relevant OLED/Image Retention.

A resolution is appreciated - thank you

This is can be fixed by doing a firmware update. so check the Acer website and try to update the firmware.

Thank you Jack22 for the reply.

I posted here because I had no luck with the Acer Support chat agent. A firmware update was his first (of many) advice but then informed me that there was not one. I checked the site just now and only see a monitor driver available for download.

What really upset me was (1) this agent could not inform me what the message was for and (2) I had to manually type the entire message for clarity because the chat system does not have image attachment capability.

Update : I contacted Acer support again and communicated with a different agent and sent him this post. He agreed with Jack's advice. I then pressed him on what exactly this message is and his response was :

"It means that there may be a failure in that "internal logic", if the monitor continues to display the message after doing the process, the firmware needs to be updated because the firmware controls everything the monitor does internally."

He advised to send it to factory for repair (yeah, right). So (thank you Amazon membership), I will painlessly return it for refund and look for another monitor. We're done, thx all.
