Acer Swift SF14-11T - Drivers Not Installing

Hi,
I am hoping someone can assist. I bought a Swift SF14-11T Snapdragon X Plus laptop as a test (To see how the battery life is) and I am having massive issues with installing drivers. I reset the device as the seller I bought it from had already set it up, so I wanted to ensure it was fresh.
The first issue I found is that it would not connect to the camera, then the battery is not showing in Windows (In Acer Sense it shows at 255% capacity!) and then finally the sound does not work. I went to Acer's website and put in my serial and it brought up the driver page for it. I selected the ARM processor and attempted to install the drivers. They seem to install (No errors or anything) but they do not actually work at all, and there is still an exclamation mark on the devices.
These are the devices that are have the exclamation mark on them:-
Qualcomm Audio DSP Subsystem Device
Qualcomm Audio RPC Daemon Device
Qualcomm All-Ways Aware Sensor Platform Device
Qualcomm Spectra 695 ISP Camera Always On Sensing Device

I am unsure why the drivers do not install, and was hoping someone has some pointers I can try.

From what you’ve described, it sounds like the system has gotten into a tangle from manual driver installs — especially on ARM‑based Windows devices, where driver sets are very specific.

To get everything back to a stable, working state, I’d recommend:

Contacting Acer Service in your country and having them reset the system to its factory default image.
- This ensures all firmware and drivers are exactly as intended for your Swift SF14‑11T.
If doing it yourself via Windows Reset this PC:
- Let Windows handle all driver installs automatically during and after the reset.
- Avoid manually installing drivers from the website unless directed by Acer support — installing the wrong versions can cause the kind of device errors you’re seeing.
Once the reset and updates are complete, check Windows Update again to ensure all drivers, firmware, and optional updates are applied.

Plan B: If Reset this PC doesn’t restore full functionality — for example, if the recovery image is damaged or the reset process loops the same issues — Acer Service can perform a clean factory re‑image from their deployment media. This will wipe all conflicting drivers and guarantee the correct ARM‑specific drivers and firmware are in place.

This two‑pronged approach ensures you’ve got an at‑home option and a service‑center fallback, so you can get all components — camera, battery reporting, audio — back in sync with minimal trial and error.

Since the built‑in recovery image is no longer available, the most reliable way forward is a clean install of Windows 11 24H2 Home (ARM64) from Microsoft’s official media.

Back up all personal data — this process will erase the entire drive.
On another Windows PC, download the Windows 11 24H2 ARM64 ISO or Media Creation Tool from Microsoft:
- Windows 11 download page
Use the tool (or Rufus) to create a bootable USB drive (8 GB or larger).
Boot your Swift from the USB:
- Tap F2 or F12 at startup to enter the boot menu (model‑specific).
In Windows Setup, delete all existing partitions until you see “Unallocated space” → select it and proceed with installation.
During setup, if it asks to connect to the internet before you can continue:
- Press Shift + F10 to open Command Prompt
- Type OOBE\BYPASSNRO and press Enter
- The system will reboot and add a “Skip” option to proceed without a network connection
Once Windows is installed, connect to the internet.
Open Settings → Windows Update, install all updates (including Optional), and allow Windows to fetch all Qualcomm ARM‑specific drivers and firmware automatically.

Tip: Avoid installing ARM drivers from third‑party sites — mismatched versions can recreate the same device errors you were seeing before.

Plan B doesn't work unfortunately. I have reset it multiple times with the same behaviour each time.

Is there a way to get the default image without having to send off the system? I am hoping to have the unit up and running without too much delay.

Thanks for that but I am unable to get the laptop to boot from the USB. I have set it as the default and used Rufus to make the USB. Any pointers in getting it to boot from the USB stick in the boot menu?

I can see it, but it will not boot from the USB drive and I have tried multiple USB sticks and swapping USB ports.
