Hello, I just ran a checkup on my computer and it is saying that my SSD is failing/needing attention. I was wondering what the steps are to get the SSD replaced or something I could do to fix the problem.

these are my specs:
Processor 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-13500HX (2.50 GHz)
Installed RAM 16.0 GB
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

RTX 4050 laptop gpu.

Thank you to whoever sees this!

With an M.2 SSD drives it can only be fixed by a technician if its a stage like your drive is, and if you have valuable data on it, so do that before it goes faulty, but you should backup everything on this drive asap, as you can't fix these drives with any software. I've got the same PHN16-71=50JG with the i5-13500HX cpu / RTX4050 gpu and upgraded ram to 64GB 2x 32GB DDDR5-4800MT/s CL40 type ram,

I run a Samsung 990 Pro + Heatsink as I've been using Samsung SSD drives for over 12 years now and I've never ever had any problems with these drives. Get the Samsung 990 Pro + Heatsink and install their Magician software with the Data migration and clone your failing existing boot drive asap onto a new drive, don't take the chance of this drive failing and losing all your data. Good luck and hope this helps you out.
